My new favorite place. Leaving a brief review for time being but I love everything about this place. Power and water and free showers in such a beautiful place is a rare thing. Most places this nice you have to go well off the beaten path. This place has it all! Also the staff are super friendly and the new owner is super caring and super concerned about his guests. He wants you to have the best possible experience. Showers recently upgraded as well and no shortage of hot water anymore as stated in some previous reviews. The owner genuinely cares and takes it all very seriously. Him and the staff are constantly working and upgrading things to make sure us, the guests are %100 happy. This place is just beautiful everything here you could want. There is a bright rebirth of this gem taking place season to season. Rates are nearly half a lot in the area for time being as he really wants to get the following going and be sure EVERYONE is satisfied here. Keep up the good work and look forward to making this my new yearly at least once vacation spot. We had a great stay! The campground is fantastic — very clean showers and a truly family-friendly atmosphere. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond by offering the kids a special tour with a golf cart, which really inspired and delighted our children! Overall, an awesome experience. Stopped in to breakup a long haul with our camper, but wished we were staying longer! Stunning location, the lake is beautiful, camping sites are so clean and tidy too. We simultaneously locked our keys in our truck while trying to boost the battery. Camp owners were so helpful and friendly to get us on the road again. 10/10 will be stopping here again! AMAZING views, if you want real, come to this campsite. Secondly the campsite is right next to the Mica Dam (a lake during the summer) which was fun to go rock skipping with friends. Lastly, something that ive noticed only here after many years of camping is that they have on demand HOT showers! The only "concern" is that there are trains that pass nearby but its really not that bad. I just finished booking our favourite campsite for our summer trip. We are so excited to be returning again. This will be my 5th time camping at Kinbasket and the third year in a row with the current owners. My two adult sons and I have a big tent that we use on an RV site, getting the best of both worlds. The location is fantastic with good weather, great views, lots of trees, lots of birds, and not too many mosquitoes. On top of the beautiful surroundings the hosts are gracious and provide exceptional customer service (something that Kinbasket Lake Resort was not known for before the current ownership). Be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride coming in because it is a logging road and be aware that the train tracks are very close by. We find that these are minor inconveniences that can be overcome with slower driving and noise cancelling earphones or ear plugs as necessary. We used to move around with our choices of where to camp each summer. Now we just go to the place we know has everything we could ask for. I had an amazing experience at Kinbasket Lake Resort! The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff supported us whenever we needed anything. The lake water is a bit dry in spring but it is totally a different experience in this season. Also Mr. Sharif is an incredible host and very hospitable, he was always persistent on providing us with a good experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there with my family and hope to be back again soon. The location right on the lake provides spectacular views of the tranquil Lake, and gives you access to beaches depending on the time of year and water levels. However, the train tracks that run directly next to the site are a regular source of disturbance. If you are a light sleeper, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Otherwise, it is a wonderful location that is surprisingly low on mosquitos. I would definitely return, but not before getting some quality ear plugs to sleep more soundly.
